Trails on the Sonnenberg & Nörderberg
The Vinschgau Valley offers you the luxury of two worlds in one place. Experience the fascinating contrasts:
- Sonnenberg: Arid, rocky, and extremely sunny – famous for dry, flowy trails like the legendary "Sunny Benny."
- Nörderberg: Densely forested and pleasantly cool. Here, rooty paths and technical challenges await you in the lush green.
And the best part: thanks to the cable cars, you can comfortably overcome many meters in altitude and concentrate fully on the flow of the descent.
Pleasure on the Via Claudia Augusta
It doesn't always have to be a steep climb. In the valley floor, the famous Via Claudia Augusta winds along the Etsch river through endless apple orchards – almost without inclines and simply dreamlike.
This is ideal for family excursions or relaxed e-bike tours all the way to Meran. For a comfortable journey back, simply use the Vinschgerbahn train – with your VinschgauCard, the ride is even free of charge.

Feel free to travel light. City bikes and mountain bikes are available to you free of charge. For more demanding tours, we rent high-quality e-bikes and fully-MTBs directly at the hotel for a daily fee.
