Family hikes
Discover the Vinschgau nature at your own pace. The vast region around Latsch offers wonderful excursion destinations for the whole family. A special experience is the family-friendly Tarscher Alm, which you can reach comfortably and with a great view via the chairlift. Or explore the untouched Martell Valley: after just a 25-minute drive, you immerse yourself in a wild and romantic natural landscape with gentle forest and meadow paths. Fresh mountain air, idyllic picnic spots, and many stroller-friendly trails make hiking in the Vinschgau a great experience even for the youngest explorers.
A car-free holiday
Leave your car keys safely in your room during your holidays, because great nature adventures start right outside our front door. Stroll comfortably with the little ones from the hotel along the flat, picturesque Adige promenade or explore the idyllic Latsch Waalweg (irrigation channel trail) on foot. Another highlight: in just a few minutes' walk through the village, you can reach the St. Martin im Kofel cable car, which effortlessly takes you and your family high up to wonderful, family-friendly panoramic trails. This is what carefree enjoyment looks like!
Biking experiences for children
Conquer the Vinschgau on two wheels! The famous Adige cycle path along the historic Via Claudia Augusta runs right past Latsch and offers flat, safe routes through picturesque orchards – perfect for a family outing. For aspiring mountain bikers, there are also small pump tracks and practice courses in the surrounding area to playfully test their riding skills. We provide the right equipment for young and old in our in-house rental shop.
Adventure playgrounds
Climbing, sliding, romping around: Latsch and the surrounding villages offer wonderful recreational facilities for young bundles of energy. A popular local destination is the shady forest playground in Latsch. Those planning a day trip should visit the Watles adventure mountain in the Upper Vinschgau – with its famous play lake, gold panning facilities, and rapid mountain cart descents, it is a real paradise for little and big adventurers.
Kids' programs at the hotel
When the children are beaming, parents can relax too. In our Kids Club at Hotel Das Paradies, a lovingly supervised program awaits our youngest guests, playfully integrating nature. We use our 3,000-square-meter hotel garden for discovery tours, do crafts with natural materials, and organize fun outdoor games. This ensures plenty of variety while you treat yourself to a well-deserved break in our La Vita Spa with a clear conscience.
