Along the "Waale"
They are the historic landmark of the Vinschgau Valley: the "Waale." These centuries-old irrigation channels crisscross the valley like lifelines and are accompanied by flat, picturesque paths.
Hike in total relaxation and without major inclines along the water, past fragrant apple orchards and vineyards. Routes like the Latschanderwaal offer dreamlike views and are ideal for families and pleasure-seekers looking for relaxation through movement.
Alpine Pastures & Summits
Those seeking a sporting challenge will find what they are looking for at Das Paradies. Use the St. Martin cable car or the chairlift to the Tarscher Alm as a comfortable shortcut into the high alpine world.
Up here, a paradise opens up for summit stormers: from cozy mountain huts tempting you with South Tyrolean specialties to demanding tours in the Ortler group. An absolute highlight is the Vinschgau High Trail (Vinschger Höhenweg) on the Sonnenberg – pure panoramic views are guaranteed here.
